Jan. 31st, 2007 @ 10:51 pm When did my dad and I switch places?

When my mom received this business opportunity my dad was all excited and gung ho about it. I, on the other hand, was really skeptical if my mom could really pull it off because I knew it was a lot to handle. For one, she isn’t organized at all. Her desk in Michigan is one big pile of bills (which may I add, she never pays on time). My motto is not to take on more than you have to if you can’t already handle what you’ve got. My mom’s motto is the opposite. She already has way too much on her plate with all the property she has. I can’t even keep them all straight and I’ve never dealt with any of them. She always takes on more and more until she drowns. I just hope she can swim better than I think she can. However, now it seems as though my dad has turned into the skeptic. Today he called me and asked me if I thought mom could handle it. What the heck? Did I not question that back in Michigan? I swear parents should listen to their children.

A. Yes, parents should listen to their children.
B. I went trolling for new LJ friends by searching for likers of Robin Williams, and your profile stood out to me, so I figure... why not? Will you be my friend?

Maybe you two could take this weekend as a time to do a complete organization overhaul. I have faith!

The business is pretty organized since we are still in the beginning stages. However, the bills... I would have no idea where to begin. Thanks for your support though. :)
